Long Causeway, up onto Stanage Edge, No Motor Vehicles, rough track, not part of the National Cycle Network (route 6 turns 90° behind the camera)
Unsuitable for Motor Vehicles - it's also signed to the primary school, so presumably the first bit is alright. Then it leads to the Hathersage road (see #191875 ), but I stuck to the regular road.
Cyclists on NCN route 680 should dismount to cross the preserved heritage railway north from Matlock
Top of the hill. Take care descending the hill, other path users, it is a popular area, and you will pick up speed quite quickly.
